Meet the Founder

Charity Masingi

Founder of Math and Matter

Hi! My name is Charity Masingi, the founder of Math and Matter. I am currently an Applied Maths and Computer Science student, with a deep passion for science, technology, and making education more accessible.

Growing up, I was a high-performing student and achieved five distinctions in my matric year, including Mathematics, Physical Sciences, and Life Sciences. But when I entered university, I faced unexpected challenges. I was later diagnosed with ADHD, and suddenly many of my struggles made sense.

If I had known about my ADHD earlier, my academic journey would have looked very different. Unfortunately, I often felt that tutors and support systems did not understand how to teach students with unique learning needs or different ways of processing information.

That's why I created Math and Matter: to build a tutoring environment where no student feels left behind. My mission is to make learning clear, accessible, and tailored, whether you're preparing for exams, catching up on missed concepts, or aiming for top results.

Here, we combine personalized teaching methods, real study strategies, and subject mastery to help students unlock their full potential.
